Then Daniel explained that the king’s dream involved a succession of world powers. Little did the King know that this was to be over some 2600 //future years. Our discussion will start at the 3rd King.
Daniel identified Nebuchadnezzar, representing the Babylonian Empire, as “the head of gold Dan 2:36B “This is the dream, and we will now tell the king its interpretation." 38B –"You yourself are the head of gold.”
2:39A 39 “But after you// another kingdom will rise, inferior to you then another kingdom, a third one, of copper, that will rule over the whole earth.
Daniel’s interpretation regarding Greece, the abdomen and thighs of copper, was also accurate.
Two hundred years before the actual event! Daniel completed this by 536 BCE and Greece became the 5th world power in 331BCE.Please,
Hold your place in Chapter 2 as we will be looking to compare Da 8:20-22 and read details of how Greece had one king, Alexander the Great, then was divided by his four generals, four Kings. Dan ch 8 vrs 20-22 explains: 20 “The two-horned ram that you saw stands for the kings of Meʹdia and Persia. 21 The hairy male goat stands for the king of Greece and the great horn that was between its eyes stands for the first king. 22 As for the horn that was broken, so that four stood up instead of it, there are four kingdoms from his nation that will stand up, but not with his power.
****Amazing. Named Greece as King or world power// then One// became 4? Alexander the Great died in 323 after only 8 years of power and, on his death bed, did not name a successor for King. What happened? His four Generals split the Kingdom. The prophecy was absolutely accurate!
The fourth kingdom, depicted by the iron legs of the image, proved to be the Roman Empire which date was, 63 B C E in regards Rome ruling over Israel. General Julius Caesar conquers the area of today’s France by 50 BCE. Caesar’ army was the iron, Conquering armies 3 times its own size. Historians consider Rome a World Power in 27 BCE as official Empire. Returning to Chapter 2, we will start at Vrs. 40 the prophecy about 4th Power. Daniel 2:40 “As for the fourth kingdom, it will be strong like iron. For just as iron crushes and pulverizes everything else, yes, like iron that shatters, it will crush and shatter all of these. This was at least 500 years in advance and was accurate.
Now, in our era, about 2600 years after the dream interpretation, The Anglo-American World Power grew out of the Roman Empire which began operating as a united world power at the time of World War I. AS we know though Britain gained it’s world dominance, colonies in North America broke away officially in 1776. Even so, the United States was allowed to grow mighty, protected by British naval power and by the time the Lord’s day began in 1914, Britain had built the largest empire in history and the United States was the greatest industrial power on earth which began with the completion of the transcontinental railroad in 1869. Built on iron. Most of Britain’s war ships and passenger ships like the Titanic, were of iron clad after 1850.
During World War I, the United States forged a special partnership with Britain. The feet of mixed iron and clay represent the Anglo-American World Power.Dan 2:41 & 43B--41 “And just as you saw the feet and the toes to be partly of clay of a potter and partly of iron, the kingdom will be divided, but some of the hardness of iron will be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with soft clay.. 43B Just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people but they will not stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay. AAHH-We know Democracy----We remember, 2nd Tim 3:1-3 and see today’s result 2000 years later. 2nd Tim. 3:1-3 paraphrased. But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness…..
The WT from 2012 6/15 brings out pg 16 ¶9) Reads par 9…..That verse Dan 2:41 describes the mixture of iron and clay as one “kingdom,” not many. The clay, therefore, represents elements within the sphere of influence of the Anglo-American World Power, elements that make it weaker than the solid iron of the Roman Empire. The clay is referred to as “the offspring of mankind,” or the common people. (Dan. 2:43) In the Anglo-American World Power, people have risen up to claim their rights through civil rights campaigns, labor unions, and independence movements.
The common people undermine the ability of the Anglo-American World Power to act with iron like strength. Opposing ideologies and close election results that do not end up in a clear majority have weakened the power base of even popular leaders, so that they have no clear mandate to implement their policies. This was foretold at Daniel Ch 2:42: “The kingdom will partly prove to be strong and will partly prove to be fragile.”— 2600 years in advance! This portion of the prophetic dream is being fulfilled now.

Although the components of the dual world power have existed since the 18th century, John describes it as it would appear at the start of the Lord’s day in 1914. In fact, the fulfillment of the visions recorded in Revelation takes place during “the Lord’s day.” It was not until World War I that the seventh head began operating as a united world power. At 8:24 Daniel foresaw the terrible destruction the 7th king would cause, writing: “In a wonderful [awful] way he will cause ruin.” (Dan. 8:24) For example, In World War 2 the United States caused terrible ruin on an unprecedented scale when it dropped two atomic devices on an enemy of the dual world power. What a perfect way to describe atomic power. A wonderful or amazing intellect of our physical world yet, used for awe full destructive purposes.
The United States keeps in remembrance of its fallen. It takes tens of millions of lives, tremendous pain and suffering to build and sustain each of man’s world powers. We are very grateful that ones make such a sacrifice.
It’s imperative to ask, Would a loving God intend for this to be so? No, this is why this is the end of Man’s rule.
There is an 8th King and a footnote on the picture reads, “During the time of the end, both Kings exist.” Anglo-American & the United Nations. Listen carefully to Revelation 17:11: “And the wild beast that was (was League of Nations) but is not, it is also an eighth King (United Nations-different name), and it goes off into destruction”. When will this happen? The Anglo Saxon American world power and the ten horns that came from the Roman world power will yield to the United Nations as if an 8th King.
Let’s continue at Revelation 17:12-14, 12 And the ten horns that you saw mean ten Kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings one hour with the wild beast. 13 These have one thought, and so they gave their power and authority to the wild beast.
14 -paraphrased—"These will battle with the Lamb……. The Lamb will conquer them. Also, those with him who are called and chosen and faithful will do so. 12 “The ten horns that you saw mean ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings for one hour with the wild beast. 13 These have one thought, so they give their power and authority to the wild beast. 14 These will battle with the Lamb,p but because he is Lord of lords and King of kings,q the Lamb will conquer them.r Also, those with him who are called and chosen and faithful will do so. This eighth King is only an image King as described in Revelation Book ch.35 paragraph 11-quoted in part- “But it is only the image of a king. Like a religious image, it has no real power apart from what is invested in it by those who brought it into existence and worship it.”
What’s happening today. The King of North is on the move with one desire to be the world power. Ezekiel Ch 38 is great reading for today. Vrs 4 paraphrased—”
I will turn you around and put hooks in your jaws and bring you and your army out…..vast assembly .vrs 15 You will come …from the remotest part of North, you and many….a vast army.Vrs 16B In the final days I will bring you against my land, so that the Nations may know me when I sanctify myself through you before their eyes, o Gog.”
Of course-Gog of Magog we know as the worldly Nations. On April 5th— United Nations News --Under an article entitled, “Peace and Security” --Ukraine’s President calls on Security Council to act for peace or dissolve itself! SHOW ARTICLE Many of us have seen news reports where different UN representatives say these words, “Peace and Security”.
Why are the words important? 1st Thessalonians 5:3 states, “Whenever it is that they are saying, “Peace and Security” then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them…they will by no means escape. Why the words Peace and Security? Remember
Revelation 17:14 “These have only one thought”- What is that thought? To preserve world peace and thus safeguard their own existence so, they need to continue saying “Peace & Security” to continue selling its importance to all people.The Prophecy is being fulfilled// in our time// for all our eyes to witness. The final portion of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream shows what the near future will bring. In the dream’s conclusion, a stone cut out of a mountain crushes the image.
Let’s Read Daniel 2:44, 45B as this is a core scripture for God’s Kingdom. Dan 2:44 & 45B 44 “In the days of those kings I repeat In the days of those Kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever, 45 just as you saw that out of the mountain a stone was cut not by hands, and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay, the silver, and the gold. And vrs. 45B ….The Grand God has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy.” verify The “stone” is the Messianic Kingdom represented by the stone that will crush the kingdoms represented by the dream image. ???
Coinciding scripture The w12 6/15 17, box-- WHO MAKE UP “ALL THESE KINGDOMS”? The prophecy at Daniel 2:44 states that God’s Kingdom “will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms.” That prophecy refers only to the kingdoms pictured by the various parts of the image. What about all other human governments? The parallel prophecy in Revelation reveals the larger picture. It shows that “the kings of the entire inhabited earth” will be gathered against Jehovah on “the great day of God the Almighty.” Stated at Rev. 16:14 19:19-21.
Therefore, not only the kingdoms of the image, but also, all other human governments will be destroyed at Armageddon. Today, 193 Member States of the UN are represented in the General Assembly These are///These are/// the days of those Kings.
SHOW YOUR FAITH IN GOD’S PROMISES FOR THE FUTURE (7 min.) The Apostle Peter stated at 2nd Peter 1:19A to 20 19A So, we have the prophetic word made more sure, and you are doing well in paying attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place (until day dawns and a daystar rises) in your hearts.
20 For you know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. 21 For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were moved by holy spirit.
Living under the rule of God’s Kingdom will be a delight Perfect laws will unite mankind in peace An abundance of food will replace famine and malnutrition, no resident will say: “I am sick.” The people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error.
John 5:28, 29 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Now is the time to show by our actions that we believe in and support God’s Kingdom (Mt 7:24-27) Matthew 7:24-27 paraphrased--Jesus brings out the clear value of making Spiritual decisions based on accurate information.
“Therefore, everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does them will be like a discreet man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain poured down and the floods came and the winds blew and lashed against that house, but it did not cave in, for it had been founded on the rock. 26 Furthermore, everyone hearing these sayings of mine and not doing them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain poured down and the floods came and the winds blew and struck against that house, and it caved in, and its collapse was great.” Jesus warned about building our house on sand. Build your house on accurate information, accurate modeling, accurate Prophecy! Or enjoy the spaghetti model of confusion.
At Matthew 7:13 Jesus words are, “Go in through the narrow gate, because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading to destruction, and many are going through it 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it”. Inaccurate and misleading information is abundant. Often, it is very challenging, to say the least to find the real deal, to pay attention to the more important things. We need to be mentally and spiritually accurate in our decision making. Seek to have sound thinking ability and discernment. A saying that might be apropos: No decision is a decision, not to make a decision! Pay attention to, “THE CONE OF CERTAINTY”! We have the prophetic word made more sure, and you are doing well in paying attention to it.
