"These two commandments the Whole Law hangs"
Jesus word states, "He said to him: "You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and your whole soul and with your whole mind", 38 "This is the greatest and first commandment".
39 "The second, like it, is this: you must love your neighbor as yourself".
Both loves are motivated by commitment, integrity, loyalty, not out of selfishness)
(Matthew 22:37-38 also Mark 12:30-31).
"This is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments and yet his commandments are not burdensome" (1st John 5:3).
There were four words of love in the Greek language that Jesus spoke.
Agape-A principled or love shown by saving actions in the spirit of God's principles not guided by self-interest. Philio-tender affection for fellow humans. Storge denotes natural affection.
None of the uses above include any implied meaning of sexual love.
Eros is used for sexual relations both natural-with opposite sex and unnatural with same sex. Natural is according to the nature of the creators design for procreation. Too many religious titles have twisted, confused, slanted scriptural thinking to infuse impure scriptural thinking.
We, individually, self-manage, with God's word to guide our path. We appreciate any loving assistance, according to scripture, which should only be advice from loving friends.
Gal 6:5 states, "Each one will carry their own load".
So, is the path of God burdensome? If we would enjoy peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding and guards your heart and your mental powers, along with good relationships based on real truth and love, all by the means of Jesus Christ then, the path is not burdensome. (Paraphrased Philippians 4:7)
